What we collect
When you ask for an estimate we collect your name, mobile number, email, vehicle, the damaged areas you mark, whether it is an insurance claim and with which insurer, any notes you add, and the photos you upload. Photos can show more than the damage: a licence plate, people, or the place the car is parked. For a fleet enquiry we collect your company name, how many vehicles and what kind, your name, phone, email, how you want to be reached and any notes you add. We also store the IP address and browser user agent of the request, for abuse prevention. Our website analytics are cookie-free and collect no personal information.
How we use it
To prepare your estimate and contact you about it, by the method you chose. The shop receives your request and photos by email. We do not sell your details. We share them only with the services that deliver our email and text messages, the AI read described below, our website provider (who maintains this service and receives a copy of each request), and the notification service we use to alert the shop to a new request.
The AI preliminary read
When you send photos, the photos, the damaged areas you marked and your vehicle's year, make and model are sent to Anthropic, an AI provider, for a preliminary read of the damage. Only the shop and our website provider see that read, and it is never an estimate: a person at the shop writes your estimate. Your name, phone number, email and notes are not sent to Anthropic.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number we send one text to acknowledge your request. Replies to that number reach the shop. We do not send marketing texts.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests and fleet enquiries are kept for twelve months. After that the photos are deleted and the personal details are removed. Ask us sooner and we will remove them on request.
Your rights
